What’s Cooking? is a passionate, fast moving business built on family values and integrity with a forward thinking corporate focus. Established in 1987 in the kitchen of our founder Leyla Edwards and now employing 500+ people, we pride ourselves on our commitment to foodservice, retail and catering sectors and are manufacturers of high quality meat, fish and vegetarian meal solutions.
That combined with our dedicated team of Account Managers and Development Chefs ensures that we remain ahead of the game in product development and innovation. As Leyla would say: “We’re not simply manufacturers’ but passionate creators”.
This process starts with the New Product Development Team. They create the dishes with the aid of market research to determine current trends. Our Product Champions then work in a hands-on role throughout the factory training teams in new product preparation and make-up to ensure that our dishes not only taste good but also look authentic to their country of origin.
Once our dishes have the all important seal of approval we then move into production. Our continual investing in state of the art machinery enables us to combine large-scale production with traditional cooking methods and produce dishes with a hand made appearance. Naturally our highly skilled and dedicated staff works to ensure that all products meet stringent quality guidelines.
